Your resume is usually your first impression and is an indication of who you are. For that reason use a professional format, check your grammar and use spell check.  We email your resume to our Clients so keep the resume format and file format simple. The more complicated the resume format and unusual the file format the more likely the resume will turn into something unreadable when saved on a Hiring Authority’s computer.

Keep the resume to no more than two pages if possible. Thats two pages in an outline. Two pages filled top to bottom with no margins and no paragraphs give recruiters and Hiring Authorities headaches and usually end up on the bottom of a hefty file of applicants.

Remember, a resume is an outline of your career to date.  It should be easy to read and prompt the reader to want to ask in-depth questions about those aspects of your career of which you are most skilled and proud.  Only the “Career Objective” and “Professional Profile” sections should be in paragraph form. The rest should be in an outline form utilizing bullets.

Avoid the inclusion of pictures, dates of birth, social security numbers and other personal information that could lead to identity theft.

Please take a look at our suggested SAMPLE RESUME format.
